Privacy Policy

Overview

RedlineAI is a local-first contract review tool. We designed Redline so that your documents never leave your machine. This privacy policy explains what data we do and do not collect, and how the limited data we handle is used.

Document processing

RedlineAI does not collect, store, or transmit your documents. All document processing happens locally on your machine. When Redline sends content to an AI model for analysis, that content travels directly from your machine to your AI provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) using your own account credentials. Redline never sees, intercepts, or stores your document content.

AI provider data handling

Documents are sent directly from your machine to the AI provider you have configured (Anthropic for Claude Code, or OpenAI for Codex). Your use of these providers is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms of service. Redline does not operate any intermediate servers that process or relay document content.

Subscription and payment data

When you subscribe to RedlineAI, payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not collect or store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials. Stripe provides us with a customer identifier and subscription status so we can manage your access.

Subscriber information

We store the following limited information for seat management and subscription administration:

  • Email address provided during checkout (used as the admin email for your subscription)
  • Seat emails for team members added to your subscription
  • Stripe customer ID and subscription status

This data is stored in Cloudflare KV (key-value storage) as part of our hosting infrastructure. It is used solely for managing subscriptions and verifying seat access.

Website hosting

The RedlineAI website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web analytics data such as IP addresses, browser type, and page views in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not add additional tracking scripts, analytics tools, or advertising pixels to our website.

Cookies

The RedlineAI website does not set first-party cookies. Cloudflare and Stripe may set cookies necessary for their services to function (security, fraud prevention, and session management).

Data retention

Subscriber email addresses and seat information are retained for the duration of your active subscription. If you cancel your subscription, your data may be retained for a reasonable period to handle billing disputes or reactivation, after which it will be deleted.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Redline after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
