Local-first review for legal-contracts v1
RedlineAI turns Claude Code or OpenAI Codex into a contract-review workflow lawyers can check. It reviews NDAs, vendor agreements, DPAs, MSAs, and SOWs on your Mac, then reports only findings tied back to source text.
Includes 5 team seats. Uses your existing Claude Code or Codex subscription. No separate Redline API key is needed.
Why it is different
Generic AI tools can draft confident legal analysis without preserving a source trail. Redline owns the intake, scheduling, leases, retries, verification, and reporting around your provider, then gives the lawyer a reviewable artifact.

What is new in the app
The current build adds the pieces a paid legal team expects: first-run activation, seat management, clearer provider setup checks, Mac desktop download, CLI install path, and lawyer-facing work product.

$ curl -fsSL red-line-ai.com/install.sh | sh
$ redline doctor
provider: codex ready
The CLI installer and setup diagnostics help teams confirm Codex or Claude Code before a live review.
Workflow
Choose Claude Code or OpenAI Codex for the run. Redline handles orchestration around that provider: intake classification, review tasks, verification, recovery, and deterministic report output.
Use the macOS app or CLI with an NDA, MSA, DPA, vendor contract, SaaS agreement, or SOW.
Your documents are not uploaded to Redline. The AI read happens from your machine through the provider account you selected.
Findings must resolve to the contract text and preserve evidence anchors before they appear in the final report.
The output is organized for legal review: severity, issue, source anchor, risk framing, and next action.
Against generic AI review
| Area | Generic AI chat | RedlineAI |
|---|---|---|
| Review process | One prompt response that may skip or invent contract issues. | Run orchestration, retries, verification, and report assembly owned by Redline. |
| Evidence | References can be vague and hard to audit. | Every surfaced finding keeps a clause or source-text anchor. |
| Privacy posture | Often depends on uploading text to a hosted chat surface. | Local app and CLI. Redline does not receive your documents. |
| Team operation | Individual accounts and manual process notes. | Paid team plan, seat management, desktop app, CLI, and setup checks. |
Pricing and download
Redline charges for the orchestration, verification, desktop app, updates, packaging, and support. Provider usage remains with Claude Code or OpenAI Codex.
