RedlineAI Verified contract review

Local-first review for legal-contracts v1

AI contract review, verified clause by clause.

RedlineAI turns Claude Code or OpenAI Codex into a contract-review workflow lawyers can check. It reviews NDAs, vendor agreements, DPAs, MSAs, and SOWs on your Mac, then reports only findings tied back to source text.

Includes 5 team seats. Uses your existing Claude Code or Codex subscription. No separate Redline API key is needed.

Why it is different

Not a chat answer. A verified review record.

Generic AI tools can draft confident legal analysis without preserving a source trail. Redline owns the intake, scheduling, leases, retries, verification, and reporting around your provider, then gives the lawyer a reviewable artifact.

Verified finding HIGH / section 8.2
Receiving Party shall provide unlimited indemnification for all claims arising out of the services, without limitation.
Issue Uncapped indemnification creates open-ended exposure.
Evidence anchor Section 8.2, source text verified before report output.

What is new in the app

More product, less prompt babysitting.

The current build adds the pieces a paid legal team expects: first-run activation, seat management, clearer provider setup checks, Mac desktop download, CLI install path, and lawyer-facing work product.

CLI and provider checks

The CLI installer and setup diagnostics help teams confirm Codex or Claude Code before a live review.

Workflow

From intake to report, Redline controls the run.

Choose Claude Code or OpenAI Codex for the run. Redline handles orchestration around that provider: intake classification, review tasks, verification, recovery, and deterministic report output.

  1. 01
    Drop in a contract

Use the macOS app or CLI with an NDA, MSA, DPA, vendor contract, SaaS agreement, or SOW.

  2. 02
    Run locally with your provider

Your documents are not uploaded to Redline. The AI read happens from your machine through the provider account you selected.

  3. 03
    Verify before reporting

Findings must resolve to the contract text and preserve evidence anchors before they appear in the final report.

  4. 04
    Export useful work product

The output is organized for legal review: severity, issue, source anchor, risk framing, and next action.

Against generic AI review

Designed for the lawyer who still has to sign off.

Area Generic AI chat RedlineAI
Review process One prompt response that may skip or invent contract issues. Run orchestration, retries, verification, and report assembly owned by Redline.
Evidence References can be vague and hard to audit. Every surfaced finding keeps a clause or source-text anchor.
Privacy posture Often depends on uploading text to a hosted chat surface. Local app and CLI. Redline does not receive your documents.
Team operation Individual accounts and manual process notes. Paid team plan, seat management, desktop app, CLI, and setup checks.

FAQ

Common buying questions.

For anything else, email hello@red-line-ai.com.

What exactly is RedlineAI?

RedlineAI is verified contract-review software for legal teams. It uses your Claude Code or OpenAI Codex subscription to review contracts, then verifies findings against the actual source text before producing a report.

What contract types are supported?

Version 1 is focused on the legal-contracts pack: NDAs, master service agreements, vendor agreements, SaaS agreements, data processing agreements, and statements of work.

Do my documents go to Redline servers?

No. Redline runs locally on your Mac. Your provider may read the contract during the run, but Redline does not receive or store the document.

Do I need Claude Code or OpenAI Codex?

Yes. Redline uses one provider per run. You keep that provider account separate, and Redline supplies the orchestration, verification, desktop app, reporting, and team access layer.

How do team seats work?

The $399 monthly plan includes 5 team seats. After subscribing, use the seat-management page to administer access.

Can I cancel?

Yes. You can cancel from the billing portal at any time, with no long-term commitment.
